Yes, while that is true... It never struck my fancy until Marta died and I was out of life bottles and had to fight Decus as Emil.

Yeaaahh...Decus was a pain in the ass to fight on my first playthrough, and I lost count of the number of times I spammed healing items on Marta so she wouldn't die. Resurrection was the bomb. Nuff said. I wish Emil was able to learn at least a very BASIC healing arte but noooooo....
...eh, but he makes up for it by being a lean, mean, fast-as-all-fucking-hell killing machine. At least, that's what I think.
It heals everyone AND damages monsters! Epic-ness. Especially after a boss uses his or her mystic arte and you go scrambling for items after everyone's hp was reduced to frickin' 1 because you weren't over-leveled. >:/ Screw you, boss battles!
Of course, I didn't even think to try to figure out how to use hers until I was nearing the end of the game, because I'm an idiot. ::head-desk::
