many people are wondering why the fandom is so pissed about the whole Derpy/Ditsy Do being cesored and allterd so here's why
because they are removing her and it seems as though the whole reason is all about being incesitive to the mentally handicap when even the mentally handicped are pissed off at hasbro others because they don't view Derp/Ditsy Do as a mentally disabled pony but as a happy go lucky pony with some bad luck but who can always view the good side of life and never feals anything but optimistic wich is a view many people (such as myself) who have verry pectimistic out looks on life and many deppresed people I know say they admire her and no matter the argument when they change it acording to the fact she was apperantly incesitive to the mentally disabled and suddenly almost every mentally disabled and not mentally disabled fan are jumping to their feat swearing never to buy another HASBRO product ever again and refuse to interact with the company in every way imaginable besides of course sending messages to ask why they would do such a thing many just asking if maybe it was just I-tunes being its normal messed up, disorganized self and then eventually flooding them with hate mail after learning ether first or second hand that the company had intentionally changed what was thought of not as an incensitive thing but as something that was viewed as almost the best philosophy on life by some by others as a beacon of light helping them through there depresions others viewed her as a way to show that you should accept those who are mentally disabled or are just difrent from others and viewed this change as HASBRO practicly saying tro be incensitive to other people and that only "normal" people are okay wich many viewed as such a afronth that some stopped being bronys all together refusing to be in a fandom around wht they viewed as a incesitive company that they thought should go rot in hell amd in fact i am verry relatiable to much of what i just said and have the same view to hell with the lot of them the only one who is difrent in this view is Lauren Faust since i don't believe she is the cause of this problem nor that she is in a strong enough position within HASBRO to demand a change without some form of masss sighned petition or something else to convince HASBRO that changin g Derpy/Ditsy Do is just one big old clusster-fuck od a mess and to start doing dmadge control as soon as possiable most likely by changing Dery/Ditsy Do back to her original self and showig her in a new episode to show that they had changed there minds and have a blog post saying they admit they were wrong and never should have changed Derpy/Ditsy Do that is realy the only way i think for them to get out of this cluster-fuck of a problem anythime soon

There are also cases that happen in reverse, the fans decide which character should die, like in the comics of Batman.
In this case I do not protest for his disappearance but because the name change I do not think appropriate, I think the original name is worse than put the fans.

You miss understand my intent, I'm referring to the censer as a whole. Not just an individual occurrence. I personally I feel the change was unneeded, but it's hard to argue with the writers motivation as to why she changed it and if you actually read why she changed it, her intent was quite pure. Even though derp isn't normally slang for retarded she found out that some people do use it like that and she did not want that to happen.
