Laughing could be heard from the halls of his enormous hive. It was his weird laugh that sounded like honking and her laugh that made him smile. He was with his matesprit in their room. He loved her with his entire being. He loved her even though she was a ‘freak’ with her (s/c) skin, (h/c) hair, (e/c) eyes, and no horns. He loved her so much that he changed. He didn’t kill as many low bloods. He was better at controlling his anger. The changes were so dramatic that everyone noticed them. There was peace in many more places because of it. But all good things must come to an end. Just as they did the day the Grand Highbloods matesprit disappeared.

GHB POV
I was panicking. She wasn’t there this morning. I normally wouldn’t care but when I went around the hive I still couldn’t find her! WHERE WAS MY LITTLE MAMA!?

I kept asking the blue blood guards where she was but they said they didn’t know. They’re dead now. Just as they should be. I couldn’t take life without my miracle. WHERE DID SHE MOTHERFUCKING GO!? I need to find her!

Its been half a sweep since she disappeared. I know she’ll come back though. She has to. Since she left I could feel my anger get worse. I was killing the low bloods more often. Revolts were happening more and more. An entire revolution was starting thanks to the motherfucking Summoner.

I wasn’t worried because she would show up soon, I know it. I had most of the army off in some forest. They had found the Summoner. The battle would start in two days time. The forest where he was hiding was a day and a half away. The armies would start attaking with or without me there. It had to take the motherfucker by surprise. He would die. The damned low blood. I was about to go to the forest myself when my surprise guest showed up at my door. It was the Condesce. She came in with a giant smirk on her face. Cant she see I need to get to the motherfucking battle field. The Summoner was going to die by my hand.

She clearly had something to tell me and it looked like she was getting a huge kick out of it. “Well well well, guess what I have for you Highblood.” I stayed silent for some reason I felt like what she had to say was important. That and starting a conversation is a waste of time. “Fine be boring. I just thought you might want to know that freak you call a matesprit. She’s been found.” What? They found my miracle?! Just as I was about to yell at her to tell me where she was. She answered the unspoken question.
“She’s with the Summoner.”

READER POV
“Hey ______, mind bringing my that bow?”
“sure thing Summoner.” I smiled bringing him the bow. We were putting away the weapons after training. He was the leader of a great cause. He was the leader of a revolution to take down the Condesce and the Grand Highblood. I still remember the day he found me even after a year.

I was wet, sore, and bleeding. I was in a river. I had barely been able to bring myself to the side and pull myself up. The bottom of my body still in the running water. I didn’t remember anything. Nothing but my name. That and the fact that I was on an alien planet where I was a freak. I don’t know how long I just laid there. I hurt to much to move.

I tried recalling my past. Or even just how I got where I currently was. It was black. I thought I would die out there. Then he came. Huge horns and wings. He was a mutant, a freak, like me. At first he didn’t see me. But when he did he panicked.
“Oh gog doll what happened to you?”
“I…don’t….remember…”
Those where the only three words I could get out before I lost consciousness. When I woke up I saw that I was in some kind of a house. It looked like the inside of a tree. I was confused until I saw the man from before. He told me he was called the Summoner and that he was against the Grand Highblood. He told me all about troll culture and taught me to fight.
He let me stay with him and in return I helped with his cause.

Ever since he started training me I became a great fighter. I wasn’t very good in hand to hand combat since trolls were naturally stronger. But I was great with a bow or gun. Summoner and I were talking about an attack he was planning on the Highbloods hive. That was until a note came through the window.

It was just a rolled up piece of paper wrapped with an indigo ribbon. It floated to the floor before Summoner picked it up and read it. I could tell he didn’t like what it said. He tensed up as he read it before running out the door yelling for everyone to get ready for battle. The note floated gently back to the ground when he ran out the door.

So with curiosity getting the best of me I picked it back up. I wish I hadn’t. the note scared me. I was frozen. ‘Why me? Why me? Why me?’ that was the only thing going through my mind as the message replayed in my mind.

‘I have an army outside your forest. You have no chance of beating them. If you hand over the mutant called ____ I’ll call them back for now. IF NOT PREPARE TO BE MOTHERFUCKING CULLED! You have two days before the battle. TWO MOTHERFUCKING DAYS! If I don’t have her then the battle starts. -HONK, honk motherfuckers’
