honestly i was actualy taking pictures of this small plant with my macro lens when i noticed a dropplet on my lcd screen..so i zoomed in more and took the shot..and this is how i turned out...the droplet itself i could not even see with my eyes lol only through the macro lens so i was very lucky

I believe you but just grrrrr that it never happens to me
Had a field full of droplets on grass last week, but had to sit on a shopping bag a plastic one on my knees because the ground was soaking. It wasn't the right position... al my pictures were blurry!

It wasn't a case of just bending down Those droplets were right down on the ground and with the sunlight shining through I had to lay down but yeah it was soaking wet
Never use I tripod either but I don't have a really steady hand

haha..i have never though of it that way..i just look for a certain section which has dew on it and just bend my knees and take like an angled shot down...people say i have a really steady hand..because with these ultra macros i do i have never used a tripod...because i just lug my camera around if i see something i clip on my macro lens and breath slowly and bamm..and apparently my camera has one of the best image stabilisations..soo that could be the reason as well
