Honestly this is a much better idea then Steven vs. Star.

They have good connections and possibly good fight potential behind.

Anyways the connections are:
Both human/alien hybrids with they're alien parents (Rose/Pink Diamond and Nolan/Omni-Man) that originally came to earth to conquer it but had a change of heart and decided to defend it from they're own alien race, near the end of the series they find our that they're royalty in their alien part of the family and in the end of they're series (Steven and Mark/Invincible) become the new rulers that change their alien race way from their Tyranical and Genocidal ways, both also turn subject like PTSD or different feelings around those lines.
