It says "Project A-ko" on the side.

I thought Project A-ko as soon as I saw the thumbnail, I loved that anime!

I still have a few of my laser disc, even if my player is long dead. My favorites being a series that the world has forgotten, "Here is Greenwood". And my Tenchi Sound File laser disc.

Here is Greenwood was a little unusual. I watched it, but I can't say I really formed an opinion. I still have Firetripper, but nothing to play it on. I sold the player and disks about 14 years ago. The player cost me a fortune because I had to import it. Australia didn't use the same TV standard as Japan and USA. I also needed a TV from USA.

Here is Greenwood was a show that required you to read the manga first for it to make any sense. Each episode skipped books between them and left a lot of things out. I had the manga, which I translated slowly with a Japanese->English book (each page = one day). I still have my broken player, needs a new belt. Someday I'll have one made for it since some of my movies have never been released on DVD.

A lot of the good anime never received the popularity needed to make the jump to DVD, yet so much crap somehow became popular!
