"Using the Toilet" is a well-crafted look at what we all do. But what makes this image rise about the mundane and become art is the photographer's exquisite use of muted, almost monochromatic tones along with the contrasts of the model's dark panties and sexy toenail paint. Also, the framing of the subject leaves this viewer begging to glimpse the model's face; alas, it is obscured as if the observer is sneaking a peek up under an adjoining toilet stall. (Now that's naughty!) The subject's face is just out of view. For many males, there's something naughty and nice about peeking in on a female about her bathroom businessβafter all, it's only nature calling. I can picture this image as a large format print, beautifully framed in a bathroom. Better yet, hung in a living room the picture's impact is even better. It's bound to get the conversation going at the next social gathering.
