Description My best "selling" pic ever (if you wondered how many sales, think not many) and a study in what nature does to cling to life, in this case I could not decide if the tree was walking over the cliff or trying to hold on....

thanks very much, to be honest it is more accident than design I considered the rule of thirds etc. but in the end it was taken quickly before some tourists got in the way

I love your personification on nature, and your take on what it does. Seems like there's a lot of pieces that look close at nature that are getting popular now, I think this is a great addition to the whole batch of them!

thanks Most of my pics are taken without too much thought. I sit on them for ages and only when the meaning becomes clear do I post or name them. I suppose they name themselves in the end

sometimes I plan a shot, if it is for a specific reason, to illustrate a feeling etc. most times I explore without thought, playing with shapes or shadows... the constant in all my work seems to be desolation, decay and celebration of survival.

wow, that is an amazing photo. everything about it it nearly perfect. the sectioning and horrizon are good. andf positioning along with contrast make this image truly wonderful. definitely a favorite.
