Yeah, it was an anime convention. It's my home convention that, just this past year, was moved to New Orleans, La. Which is where these photos were taken.
It's called Mechacon. They've been growing like crazy every year. I've been going since their first year back in 2005 (Which was the year they had to end it early because Hurricane Katrina struck in the middle of the weekend)
But I would LOVE to go to something like Comic Con. A friend and I were even contemplating traveling across the country last weekend for C2E2 just to see the StarKids. lmao But that didn't happen.
