It looks to clean for the minigun. Weapons aren't that much reflective.. As for the "Children minigun" Its great

That's quite alright, I mean you modeled the thing after all.

I find it so annoying when spreading the lead, that the gun starts to dance around. Big feet will keep it stable.
Looks greats

thanks for the comment!
yeah i think that's pretty annoying too, i would of made them bigger but then it would look weird, i thought these would be big enough to stop the dancing

A dancing gatling gun might be interesting to model.
Could be the front line of the Beat Nation.

hahaha not a bad idea, got to find a way to make legs then

Actually, you do not need legs, if you have a bend function, you can bend the supports for the feet.
Maybe wiggly foot supports will work out.
I bet that if you look at some old school cartoons, like stuff from the '30s and '20s, you might get some cool ideas. Do a search on "Toonheads", there is a site that plays old school cartoons like felix the cat or Betty Boop. Youtube might also have them too.
There is a game site that has a music video of Stalin Vs Martians, that might help too.
Heard the game was crap but the music video was funny.

Why did you make the barrel bores so much larger than the bullet caliber? Is the cartoon-ish look intentional?

yeah, that's what i was doing for. it's a gun from the cover of worms Armageddon. i wanted to give it a bit more realist look by making it metal but still stay with a cartoonish feel by making the barrel bores a bit bigger. Glad you noticed it
thanks for the comment!

Nice. The reflectivity and shadow are really good. Cute little design, too.

thanks! and thanks for the favorite. i just used a default render environment they had to get that lighting and shadow and i turned out pretty well. this makes me actually want to put more effort into rendering and texturing and not just modeling.

i'm the opposite . i'd like to spend my time designing rather than waiting on hour renders to see if i happend to get the settings finally correct .... i know what you're saying though
good materials and rendering make a huge difference in the end product . i juss think it's a painful process - compared to the fun of creating things .

yeah i much rather just model then render, but it's time i start to pay more attention to it specially when my models get better.
