tried to make a radiator that a friend requested. at least it looks like a radiator. putting this one in scraps for now, i'll move it when i texture itdone in 3DS max

Good modeling. I'd like to see it with the texture on it. Good idea with the friend suggesting it. I once heard a person speaking about keeping your creative edge and building your skill by taking suggestions from friends on what to draw. The same idea could be applied to modeling, which would take a bit longer.
I would suggest making the texture look like old paint that is peeling off.

i WISH i could texture. i spend my nights dreaming about being able to texture haha.
yeah i usually try and have some of my buddies pick something out for me to make. I want to do at least one a week and maybe even start to texture them when i find a tutorial on it for max. but the summer i can want to be able to model and texture better

YEah, I have bad dreams too. Ha ha.
I'd like to get a job just modeling, and somebody else does the textures. If I am to sell my modeling skills though, I have to make the models in my profile look as good as possible.
I would imagine it to be easy to find tutorials for that. Good luck.
