Description
A little thing I made for a RWBY group I help admin, RWBY Nation on facebook.Cinder vs a fully powered Meta. Magic vs Science. The AI knew the road she was taking, and they wouldn't let her walk it any further.
I might go back and redo it. It is missing a lot of things after all. However, for now I am happy with it. I think the words make it.
Hey, for fun, why don't you try singing that part of the song in your head but replace the voice with the voices of each AI that match the color.
Order being Delta, Theta, Eta/Iota, Omega, Gamma, Tex/Beta, Alpha, and finally Sigma.

The Meta: ( without hesitation he grabbed his neck, lifting him up slowly as he is choking the life out of him.)

How would Team RWBY fare against the Meta if he can singlehandlely kill Cinder?
The Reds and Blues had to destroy the AIs before they had a chance to kill him.

If they did have to, then it would be him underestimating them.

Are we talking Maine or Sigma here?Β Because becoming human was Sigma's goal.Β Sigma effectively brainwashed Maine to do his bidding.
I'm not sure he would underestimate Team RWBY.Β There is a big difference between warriors in training and idiotic sim troopers (otherwise known as cannon folder.)

The Meta. In this, the AI have all(except Epsilon), so they pretty much completed their goal of becoming complete. They have what they want at the cost of many innocent lives, so what comes next? Stopping the one that reminds them so much of themselves.
True, but these are highschool girls with no armor and weapons. Albiet, deadly looking weapons, but still, doesn't negate that they would still look like highschool girls. So unless he's seen them before, he'd probably treat them like the average guard and worst.

When you say the Meta, you mean the AIs correct?Β If so, why would they kill Cinder in their pursuit of Alpha and Epsilon?Β Unless she has information regarding both of them or just got in the way, there is no point for the Meta attack Cinder.

Like I said, he has all of them minus Epsilon. Each of the words in the picture correspond to one of the AI that he has. Also, mostly due to the need to run his armor, he would need them to beat Cinder. So they would have what they want/needed. Now it would be time to try and redeem what they had done to get to that point. In this version at least. Plus I can imagine Cinder attacking Meta first and the AI wanting to eliminate her as a threat if they weren't searching for redemption and such.
I have actually thought on that before. As the Meta, assuming that they were born in the world, would have the ability to take other people's semblance. Like he does with armor equipment from the show. Like he kills someone, takes their semblance with his. Would be a pretty big threat.

Cinder seeing the Meta as a threat makes sense to me.
I actually had the same idea for the Meta's semblance.Β This would make him a massive threat.Β Cinder would be justified in attacking him yet she would be just as likely to be killed herself.Β If it is when she has the fall maiden powers, wouldn't the Meta take them as well as her semblance?

Good question. I don't think so since maiden powers seem to be passed on while semblance is stationary. Still, like I said, this isn't something we have seen before so who knows.
