Impressive. Β I haven't seen Fury, but my first thought was of my Dad. Β He was a gunner on a halftrack (quad .50cal) during WWII and in the Battle of the Bulge he was supporting two Shermans going down a logging road when one Tiger came through the woods knocking trees down as it went. Β "I counted seven rounds from the Shermans hit the Tiger and it shook 'em off like fleas on a dog". Β In that engagement the Tiger almost lazily turned it's turret and destroyed both Shermans with one shot each. Β Β I see in this scene, the Sherman is coming up behind, which was the Tiger's only real weakness so if it can get it's shot off first they've got a good chance. Β Nicely done scene.

No wonder it looks so realistic, considering the tools you used. Though, the one to fire first would most likely be the Sherman. This is because the Sherman has a powered turret, while the Tiger, I'm not exactly sure how they turned it, maybe by hand.Β Β Β
Anyway, considering the angle of the pic, and the angle of the gun, the tiger would shoot first. The Sherman may get the first shot, but the cannon is not strong enough, so they can only hope (unless EXTREMELY LUCKY IF THEY DESTROY IT) to disable it temporarily. Though, guessing from the type of barrel, It seems that it is a British Firefly, basically a U.S. Sherman, but with a better cannon. So it has a chance of destroying it, IF aimed in the right spot, which, considering the angle they are at, would have to be a lucky shot.

I didn't see the movie, but it looks bad for the Sherman!
Very nice work, too!

Soon as I saw it I thought: "I see you've watched Fury"
Nice one. The sky looks a little weird though, might be the perspective.

Thanks, Yeah I agree the sky does need some work. This was created more of a test image as I want to create a larger more detailed battle scene at some point so I just testing the waters but thanks for the feedback.
