I think this is great... I love the contrast of the black and white cloth with the color in the face...
perhaps it is because I'm a Westerner, but I find myself very curious about the person in the photo, because the headscarf (what is your word for it?) is outside of my usual realm of experience
There's an incredible depth in that eye... is it sadness? Anger? Resolve? Simply toughness? It is really engaging.

the headscarf is called (shmagh ) or (kofeeya) in some other countries , it's usually used by men .
