Little Dotterel, wading around in the shadows
There are a couple of pairs living along the creek and around the house. Haven't found any nests or spotted any young yet - but am hopeful! «

It's easy to get caught up in life isn't it. I found it hard being interested in anything recently, after Mum. Everything is unreal and stressful. But I'm starting to get a handle I hope, work is starting again too so at least I'm not sitting in the house. Should get lots of shots at work again

landscape and portrait sort photography is too tough for me. The perks of birding/wildlife are that you never ask them to pose for you.

I'm into pretty much all of it lol. Makes it difficult to concentrate on learning the tricks for one style though. Trying to do to much at once.
Week before last was unbelievable! This past week was okay - but it kept raining and stuffing my work up. Which is where I am now. Whilst I HAVE been finally testing out the new lens, it will be at least another week, maybe more. The rain buggered up my time table lol. But there are new photos!!!!

Great capture! The red accent around the eye and on the beak makes this bird look quite striking. You are lucky to have them around your place, and this is a wonderful photograph!
