SDF-1 Macross, for me, this is the Mac Daddy of starships.

Shown here is a sketch of the SDF-1 in its attack mode as seen in the feature film, Macross: Do You Remember Love? The good ship was given a face-lift... actually, allot of things received new designs for the movie. Most notable of the changes was the darker color of the hull; the Daedalus and Prometheus were replaced with ARMD platforms 01 and 02 (which were also redesigned from the series).

I plan to present another deviation of the SDF-1 in its "ship mode" as well as its original Meltrandi appearance (from the movie).

Shit, I had so much fun making this. I love that brush, I've never really worked with colors like this, it was a blast.

The ships right "leg" was bothering me, so I fixed it (I felt the angle was wrong), also added a few strokes here and there. Also erased the word "Macross" and the blue scribble.

Adjusted the illustration so that the ship to appear more verticle, looked like it was gonna fall forward...
