Here's my latest digital painting I've been working on for a while. Took me over 9000 hours or so, but I like how this one came out
Fanart for Team Fortress 2, digitally painted in SAI, needs some final touches though, so it's not completely finished. I might add some posters or some more objects later, but that's it for now.
Note: I used a few in-game screenshots/TF2-related images for reference.
So this painting features one of my favorite and most played class, the Engineer, who has set up his typical turtle base in 2fort, except in a more comfortable fashion. Not much is needed to be said about the Pyro, as you can see..

IIRC I was watching that during the duration of painting this piece, and then I thought, this film would be suitable to paint in the dispenser, since it also fits the time period TF2 is in, which is in the late 60's I believe

This is absolutely BEAUTIFUL, you really captured the TF2 style, yet kept your own originality as well. Bravo!

Many thanks, really appreciate your comment! and yeah,as an Engie, I tend to stick around in a little corner doing nothing, but other times I'd be rushing straight into the front lines with my wrench and whacking anything in sight, and build random sentries in the enemy's base. It's usually 2fort that I play as the Engie though :\

The Engineer & the Pyro are my 2 favorite classes, I think the two go well together.
The Engineer builds his Sentries & his Despencer (or whoever you write it) while the Pyro keeps a close watch for all the Spies lurking around

I hear ya, man. It always relieves me when I got a pyro sticking around me when I'm tinkering with my machines.

and when an ambush fails (for example, the enemy Heavy got enough time to spin up his minigun) I always run to safety of an Engies base, to get healed by the Dispenser & to enjoy watching his Level 3 Turret shoot the crap out of some enemies
In the mean time, while I stick around, I do a Spy Check (use my Flamethrower at everything around me) just in case a Spy wants to sap the Engies base.

LOL! This is how I feel sometimes as the Engineer. Then, I end up running forward into the battle a bit, and a Spy saps my sentry...
