My drawing for the holidays I guess, spent a good whole week after the end of semester classes to work on this. And it looks like my robot-fever hasn't gotten any better. I went with whatever design for the robot and buildings I could think of. (turned out similar to Transformer's again.)Took me a shit-ton of hours for this one. No reference used, digitally painted in Photoshop.

Looks a lot like the Transformer, as you've said. In fact, exactly like the Transformers. If you weren't aiming for Transformers, I think you might have a little transformers on the brain.
Anyway, I like the picture. Nice positioning of that little robotic thing right there, the textures really giving away to a robot with more personality then you would expect (as compared to a factory-fresh replica) and the alien landscape really fit sin well with it. All the same, great work, and nice lighting to boot.

hey thanks for commenting on the piece,yeah I definitely had transformers on my mind. I find their style of unique abstract shapes within the composition just fascinating, I cant help but think about those damn irregular shapes and robots whenever I draw. I even doodle them sometimes in class >_>
