i had been requested to make some sprites for a small sprite animation recreation of the sonic ova scene where sonic and metal confront each other in that ice place.

i procrastinated a lot and havent done too much of this, metal still needs his reference frame done, and sonic needs his the rest of his frames done.

whats shown here is his reference sprites. the smaller 8 bit scale one was the original which i didnt intend to be so small, so i remade him in 16 bit size, he is a little bit shorter than triple troubles sonic, while his larger version is a little bit bigger than mania sonic. the requester wanted it in mania style - but i managed to convince them that its fine like this, especially since i can do it all faster when im using less colours. i also am not the biggest fan of the mania style, i dont mind it, it's nice in its own way. just not what i go for nowdays.

do not use, ill make the spritesheet available when the animation is out.
if i see my sprites edited or used, ill be coming for you.
