I am both intrigued by Mucha and the masques worn at carnival.

The use of colors and design elements are incredible-- very New Orleans Mardi Gras. It evokes enough of both the NO and art nouveau to pay tribute but not enough to sacrifice the ideas to them. There's a feeling of richness, luxuriousness and another time.
I found the figure a bit stiff, thought (sorry).

The figures of the venetian carnival are very posed, like a mime, so are very static and stiff. Thank you!
