I am experimenting with the new Liquitex acrylic ink! which says it can be used with technical pens, but my rapidograph did not like it so I had to resort to a crowquil pen. Am still fascinated with working light on dark.Related content

I love how it seems inverted lol. Thats a really cool effect that I rarely see(light on dark).

I have spent alot of time drawing in black ink on white paper, and began to wonder what it would be like to draw with white ink on black paper. Aside from having to invert your shadows and highlights, it has been quite the adventure, one I willl probably continue to pursue. Thanks.

gorgeous!! there is an opaque white ink made by Windsor Newton that you can use with rapidograph pens. The acrylic will dry up too quickly and clog the pen

Thank you for your tips about the inks. Generally I have only drawn with black or sepia toned inks, so the colors are a new challenge.
