Gorgeous picture. I like the repetition of purple all over the picture, and how the background seems to be roatating around the main flower. Did you use any spcial effects?

yes, actually I photoshopped it a bit just to bring out the contrast and make the colors stick out more. I didn't do any additional blurring though
