Description
"breathing life like fire" -SoundgardenThis piece is basically me making art because I was really frustrated with other art I was working on =/.
I went a little darker than I usually do with the graphite... my pencil curses my name. Tell me what you think.
Ingredients: Graphite, frustration, Manson, Aphex Twin, lemon ice, power noise.
Edit: Oh yes, I forgot. The scanner sheared this off to a greater degree than the farmer shears the dreadlocked sheep. So... uh... a lot. Yeah. Sorry about that =/.

I love this. Its one of those drawings that you can look at for hours in a million different ways and there is always something new there. good job.

i like the shapes. and the degrees of darkness it all works out very well. i also love that look that you kind of just scribbled rather randomly (which is what i do) but most of all i love the shapes. they're coool

Thanks a bunch for commenting! I like to think of my works as controlled chaos ^_^

unfortunately, i don't have anything qual-ariffic to say. Just: again with the shapes that i don't understand but look cool anyway. huzzah. I like the darkness. it demands attention, which is uncharacteristic of you. it's a refreshing change. i bet you felt better after you did this

Actually, toward the end, I started getting frustrated again with having to be so dark all the time, and the frequent re-sharpenings that requires =/. Also, the longer I worked on this, the less it turned out like I wanted it to. I really only like the central shape and the one immediately left of it.

yeah actually those are the ones that stand out most to me. Well, it's a shame that it was not as theraputic as would be nice, but it's a great piece of work anyway.

this is great, i love the dark shading and the thick lines, the darkness shows that a lot of anger was put into it, but frustration is able to create very unique things, great job!
