Description
I originally drew this portrait of actress Zsofia Psotta (from the movie "White God") in ballpoint pen and white charcoal (left side). I scanned it, and then went back to the original drawing and added darks with a Pentel brush pen and some highlights with a white gel pen.I go back and forth regarding which one I like better. I'd love to hear your opinions...

The second one works best for me, the highlights do better job with wider grayscale. Also you added some on her hair!

Definitely prefer the inked version. The increased range helps with the contrast balance, I think—everything else just stands out much better in that version.

That seems to be the consensus...not so much here (few replies), but on the FB I submitted it to.

I prefer the more contrast one. But both are same good and it just depends on the mood/usage I guess.

I posted this on a FB group and just about everyone preferred the high contrast version...
