Why do I get the distinct feeling that at least one of them is going to tease Velvet relentlessly. My money's on Coco.

As has been said before, the reason they didn't back her up in Season 1 when she was being picked on was simply that Velvet was originally intended just for use in the two scenes she appeared in (the one with Cardin and the follow up in the classroom) and was bumped up to a full-time secondary character (necessitating the creation of her team to go with her) because of the fan reaction to her. Word of Monty is that they value her abilities (at least).
Given that Velvet's voice actor uses a British (?) accent, it would make sense to continue the "non-USA accent" as a theme across the team.
Girl on the left has bullets all over that strap and her belt, so she's no mage - she has to be a gunner of some sort. Orange guy's weapons are those gauntlets, so I'm thinking he fights similarly to Yang. Last one has a big sword andΒ monk-type outfit. So... two hand-to-hand fighters, one ranged weapon user and a support mage (Velvet) to back/boost them up?

I wonder what their theme is?Β Velvet's a fairly obscure fairy tale, and a faunus, but most of them look wholly human... plus she's a mage (according to Word of Monty) but they don't look like spellcasters.Β Girl on the Left especially, she looks more techie than anything else.
