Anime Evolution Print 03: Blending HeartsThe next up in my arsenal of prints for AE is a Kingdom Hearts flavored work.
The Picture
I decided to draw everyone's favorite destiny island residents ( well i like Tidus and Wakka too but they're no where to be seen in the second iteration ) When i saw this one in my head, i pictured Kairi at the bottom * looking as cute as i could draw her * instead of putting Sora first. I felt he'd look better at the top. I was going to go with a tint on each character ( like the art from the first game ) but in the end, i decided to keep it like this. Then as an added touch, i wanted the colors to kind of bleed off of the characters, and blend together.
As always, i wanna know what you guys think : )
Many thanks to the lovely for her sage like advice and assistance. She's the reason Kairi looks cute, and sora doesn't have Super Saiyan hair.

it reminds me alot of the case for the namco video game "tales of symphonia" with those poses
but really, its an awesome pic

Yeah, oddly enough, i thought the same thing after i made this composition. Tales art does love it's half cut off character poses, looking off in random directons. Thank you kindly for the kind words though : )

this is a rare picture
it just....
the kh characters are drawn so oft, yet you manage to bring something fresh to the table
truly commendable, the only critique or comment i have to say on the quality of the drawing
is riku's profile, I think his nose juts out too fast and his mouth is a tad too far away from the chin

Kairi definitely needs more love. She's pushed out of the way in favor of the Yaoi parings, and there's nothing wrong with that * though it isn't my cup of tea * but she's been waiting on sora too xD )
I had the idea ( if i can get back to it ) to draw a scene from the good ol' days of KH 1, when sora tries to fight Riku with the wooden swords, and the others would be cheering in the BG

This is really good, the only thing i would say about it is to make riku's hair a little more spiky, its just a little to smooth. Other than that it is quite exceptional

In hindsight, you're right about the hair, he has a lot of whispy spikes like Leon/squall

I would have liked to come to AX ( still not totally out of the question though )but they instituted some pretty harsh rules and price tags for this years get together. I'll be sure and save one for you though : )
