Rider Simon & NiaIf something feels a little familiar about this piece, then you're on the right track. Yes, this is a continuation to 's original Gunner Yoko commission - quite literally, in fact. This picture links perfectly to the right side of the "Gunner Yoko" picture I have up in my gallery right now. :thumb308199343:
As always, I love color and I love stuff blowing up, so going back to get this commission done was an enjoyable experience. There's now only one piece left to complete the series.
I am 100% committed to getting every last one of these commissions done, so you can bet this isn't the last one you'll see going up.

whats the best way to create smoke like that? I could never draw it correctly

Well, you can start with the darkest color of the smoke, right? Then layer on the lighter colors to build up volume and depth.
The best way to practice it would be to have a look at some real smoke and explosions, then do a few warm ups where you pick a few colors
and try to capture the same values you see in your reference in your picture.
Hope this helps you make some awesome some and explosions
