I think what would help show Sora moving upward in the third panel would be speed lines following him. I didn't quite get that feel of movement at first. Also his face looks a bit flat there too. Other than that, awesome comic so far!

Quick run can only be used on the ground. It's the ability granted by Sora's "Wisdom Form".
The ability you're looking for is his "Aerial dodge", an ability granted to him from "Master Form"- which allows Sora to air dodge. However, Sora can only air dodge if he initiates the jump, if he is attacked into the air, Sora has to use his "Air Recovery", otherwise he's in an air juggle state.

if you level up wisdom form, Sora can use it as well in his normal state

yeah, you can earn 3 levels to use in sora's normal status. But the draw of each form is, you can use a 4th level of each individual skill : )

what is that effect you do to your art where everything looks like it has a sort of plastic feel to it? Also creating the colors to be a little lush?

I'ma say its great use of the Pen tool if this is done on Photoshop.
As for the colors, its either playing with the contrast, or just some real good coloring skills.

seen this comic for a while. I saw it when it first started about.....2 years ago... when it was just lose drawings. I wondered what happened to it. Now I can fave it and see what happens next. I saw up to page...53 I think it was. Can't wait to see more. It has gotten better than before. XD Can't wait for more. ANd you submited this on my birthday. XD Whoo, coolio!!!!!
