For some unfathomable reason, Taskmaster was included in the X-Men expansion set, the final OverPower set ever released. This is a character who has absolutely nothing to do with the X-Men. I don't recall if he ever even fought them. He's not even a mutant. And top of that, he was unjustly saddled with a mere 7 in Fighting , because Maverick , a completely forgettable '90s relic, just had to have the 8. Admittedly, Taskmaster's original Character card had a decent Inherent Ability, but without the 8 he's just not right. It really stuck in my craw. So fuck that noise. Taskmaster is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, Marvel villains ever conceived. He deserves better.

EDIT: Love Alex Garner, but it felt like Taskmaster's art was in need of an update.
