Stargate??? It's a great show but isn't there 10 or 11 seasons? That's a pretty big time commitment! I missed the much of the new Battlestar first time around so that's next on my list.

It's not really a commitment; I don't sit glued to the screen, it's just running in the background while I do other things. I've seen the show before, so it's no biggie. Just depends what I'm in the mood in.

Stop after season one. SeaQuest had promise with its hard-science leanings and smattering of politics (yes, yes, Knight of Shadows excepted, of course...), but my god, season two...

Oh I know, I watched it when it aired on TV back in the day. Season 1 is undoubtedly the best.

Can't really consider yourself a sci-fi fan without liking Star Wars , right?

Well, fair enough. I guess I shouldn't generlize so much!
Star Wars was pretty much my introduction to sci-fi back in the day; on a grander scale anyway, but then those are movies (I haven't seen the Clone Wars series etc.). Babylon 5 was both! Babylon 5 was certain far more diversive!
