What's hilarious is that in S1E15 "Feeling Pinkie Keen", when faced with a Hydra, Twilight does the following:
"What would a brave pony like Rainbow Dash do?"
Cue Leeroy Jenkins-style charge. To which I laughed uproariously.

actually...in "A Bird in the Hoof", there appears to be a ham sandwich among Applejack's entrees.
Also, Pinkie Pie briefly mentioned a "Hot Dog eating contest" in "Fall weather Friends"
But Pinkie also even sang how both Ponies and Buffalos were completely vegetarian.
...Maybe its meat substitutes? I mean, that's an explaination for Sonic eating Chili dogs...
