Bando (坂東) or "Bull"

Bando is a real celebrity among Japanese dogs, living in the western part of the country. He's not known for good deeds, so don't even try to sneak into the corners that belong to him and his pack, or you won't be left with a single bone, because Bando's soldiers are every bit as coldblooded as their leader.

You're probably wondering where he came from, aren't you? Well, I've been watching this beast since he was born, so I can tell you his story.

Bando, or Bull (as almost everyone calls him) was born in the spring from a black German Shepherd and a Turkish Kangal. Because of the difference in sizes of these two breeds, the puppies in the womb of a shepherd-mother were just huge, and therefore the owners of the dog had to take her to the vet for an operation under general anesthesia, since she couldn't give birth by herself. The C-section resulted in the death of two of her three puppies. Bando was the one who survived.

He was a very naughty puppy, always disturbing everyone, destroying furniture, barking loudly at night, and people hurried to give the cub literally to the first person they saw. The local farmer needed a dog to guard the cattle, so it wasn't hard to find a new owner for Bando.

...However, no matter how hard the farmer (let's call him Haruo) tried to train his new dog, he was unsuccessful: Bando flatly refused to obey the man and it was impossible to correct his behavior even with regular beatings — on the contrary, this method just gave rise to Bull, which everyone knows now.

Bull, by the way, was nicknamed for the gold ring in his nose. This is usually inserted to the most aggressive cows, so that they were more obedient and calm, because their nose — their only weak spot. Haruo at some point decided to pull the same thing with his dog. Later he even tied a rope to the ring to control Bando, but the beast became even angrier and one day ran away to the other side of town, jumping over an electric fence. Bando was left with a piercing and a collar as a reminder of his former life.

Now he's truly a huge one, the leader of a large pack of stray dogs, most of whom also shared a difficult fate with their leader. But what happens next? The rest of Bando's story is only in your hands!
