damn. idk if my critiques will be any help since i saw afew large critique comments and didn't bother to look at nearlly all of what they said
well... i think sarah said... yes, eye should be middle of head, also he looks a bit like he has no left cheek bone, and his forehead is too curvy inned, if you know waht i mean and he looks a bit like he has a granny mouth altho i feel like i should shuttup now and it does look really good *stare* have fun with the second version!!!!

Good job man! sorry for the file
But As i said got another chance to start from 0..
for your second model, you should try to pull out a little bit more the polys of the eye brows and the lips.

it'd be interesting to see a wireframe of that
not bad, although quite a few bits are a little... odd
the nose is sorta meant to puff out to the sides near the bottom
the mouth needs to come further forward, and you should be able to see some of his lips
the eyes look way too pinched where they meet the nose, also it looks like the eyeholes are extruded into the head too far (eyelids aren't really all that thick)
where the nose meets the forehead theres an odd sorta dent that probably shouldnt be there, unless the character suffered some sorta injury
the top of the head looks rather pointy, but that may just be me / the view
the sides of the head look a bit too flat, but again that may just be me / the view
anyway, its a pretty good model, just being picky up there
def. sucks that your file got corrupted though =/
presumably this is your first attempt at modeling a head with sub-ds and not your first attempt in general... if this was your first attempt in general then this would be innsane

From this point of view, it looks like you're having the same trouble that I have modeling heads. Which is; The head is a little boxy, especially around the mouth (which gives me the most trouble) it looks a little flat. But great job so far.
Also, a little more work on the lips (mainly bottom) would be nice.
Too bad it crashed, but practice makes perfect.

yea, the flatness was really pissing me off , i'm gonna go ahead and try another head, hopefully it'll come out better

Uhhh just a bunch of little comments you can ignore if you know about them yourself, etc... It's kinda a long picky comment *halo*
The eyelids are a little wonky, probably because the eyes are set a bit farther out than normal. Are the eyes halfway down the head (you know the proportion thingy, because the chin looks a bit big too?) The lips should be set out further, and the area above the eyes (where the eyebrows are) should be a bit more raised (or the eyes set back farther... I'm not sure if the eyebrow area is really fine or it's just the eyes jutting out.) The nostrils are a little voldemort-esque, and they should flare out more from the nose (I don't mean the holes, just the err... air passages? Whatever you'd call them...)
But uhhh other than those little details it looks very nice, shape of the head and such.
