Description
I had time for another personal work until things pick up again. This one is based somewhat on street pictures I took in Korea a few weeks ago.I was going for a feel of a bit more "gritty" infrastructure detail which I often perhaps don't focus on enough when doing work. It's something I like especially when it's out in the open.

Exactly! Β I love scenes like this: little urban neighborhood collections of shops, dwellings, etc.

Beautiful.Β One critique, there should be individual pieces of garbage somewhere in here.Β The streets are gritty, but no garbage looks a little strange.

Thanks, I always wanted to see the Tekkon Kinkreet film since before it came out, being a big fan of the animation studio which created it, and the general style. I never got around to actually seeing it when it was out though, I am not very good at keeping up with anime movies. Thanks for reminding me about it though.

Even though you mentioned this is based on Korean streets, every time I see great street art like this, I want to immediately watch some Miyazaki movies.
Great piece!
