Description
I mentioned when I made the "Galactus IV" sci-fi interior a few months ago that I was planning to make some space vehicles in a similar style. So this is my first attempt, I chose a small type of transport ship but I have plans at a later point to make some larger ships and some more interiors perhaps. The style is a bit of an homage to the craft of model making in circa 1970s sci-fi like Star Wars, etc.
I used to make tons of space ships in 3D many years ago as I was growing up, when I had a less experienced level of skill, but I have not made one in a long time, so I did this to be curious how it would go and compare to the older work.
It was a lot of fun making up and adding all the various details to the model.
tool: 3ds max, Photoshop, Illustrator

Great design! Small and compact as I like smaller ships.

You've done an amazing job on getting that old time SciFi feel.

Sweet! Ah, for the golden age of model-making. Everything, down to the faux-computer 70's font looks right about this. Well done, sir, well done.

Thanks much, glad you like it and what it's going for.. I would still like to do some other things like this when there is time, like space station or larger ship
I have some interior shots in similar style if you haven't seen them

Looks to me like Star Wars Y-Wing meets Battlestar Galactica
