Hey guys and gals! Mr.O here at night with a rather peculiar battle. No, its not a battle of which color is better! It's a war featuring the titular teams of the Rooster Teeth show known as Red vs Blue! Now, despite the show's name, these two groups haven't fought each for a long time since the 7th season, even turning into one group. Here in this Death Battle episode, we shall see which team would really win this war! We have the Red team and then we have the Blue team, but this will feature the original roster, the teams from season 1. Including their later feats and skills of course!

Who will win?

The Red Team? Or the Blue Team?

In a galaxy not too far away that it could be copyrighted, the human race was in a war with the alien race known as the Covenant. In order to win this war, the local government came with a crack ton of plans, including one called Project Freelancer. This was meant to create A.I. and pair them up with their human partners, thus creating very powerful super soldiers. Not as awesome as Captain America though. Moving on, what is it that they did? Oh yes, put two factions and make them go to war with each other in a simulated battle.

One of these factions is the Red Team, consisting of Dick Simmons, Dexter Grif, Franklin Delano Donut, Lopez and their leader, Sarge. Sarge is the soldier with a southern accent and an eccentric mind, which may explain why he seems to hate the Blues since probably his birth. Simmons is the level-headed nerd of the group who also has quite an ego, but hey, at least he must be a cool cyborg! Grif spends his time being lazy and eating food, but in battle, he's proficient in riding vehicles including a Warthog! Although naive and effeminate, the pinky Donut is a good soldier with a good arm, as proven when he threw a grenade halfway through the Gulch. Lastly, we have a robot built by Sarge, but since he was made by an idiot, Lopez is stuck with only speaking the Spanish language and hates the fact that no one can understand him save for some few.

Meanwhile, we have the Blue Team, consisting of Lavernius Tucker, Michael Caboose, Tex, Sheila and their leader, Church. Church may be angry and rude, but he does care for his teammates and proves to have excellent logic as well as the ability to possess people 'cause he's a badass A.I. Tucker is that one guy who's crazy about sex, making such jokes at any chance he gets, but he does have enough brains to outsmart a time-loop and is quite the strategist. Caboose may be a retard, what with his head out of reality, but he makes up for it in sheer strength, making him the muscle of the team. Sheila is the A.I. tank of the Blues, capable of destroying entire vehicles as well as people in one hit and tanking a lot of damage. No worries, if she gets blown up, she can always possess another vehicle. The last member is Agent Texas, the most powerful soldier and one who hunts money! Given how she's also an A.I., she can take an insane amount of damage, she's fast enough to react to missiles and strong enough to shatter large boulders with just one punch. One Punch Texas!

Alright, alright, let's get down to it! Both teams have some impressive weaponry and armor(which boosts their capabilities by the way), but it's very obvious that the Blue Team is much smarter and more competent than the "Glorious Reds." For one, A LOT of Sarge's plans are seriously flawed and they tend to have his teammates killed, mostly Grif. He ignores those flaws and a lot of his victories came from dumb luck. While Simmons is the sanest member of the Red Team and its smartest member, he has his own fair share of mental instability. On the other hand, the Blue Team has a couple more smart brains like Church, and Tucker. Those two can come up with tactics that can be on par with Simmons or even surpass him. Okay the intelligence factor may be tied between Simmons and Lopez of the Red Team and Church and Tucker of the Blues, but the Blue Team is still much more competent.

In terms of combat, the Reds are also overwhelmed in this aspect, as everyone or nearly every Blue member has better combat skills than the two fighters of Red. Sarge and Simmons are the only ones physically fit enough to keep up with some of the Blues while the others just rely on their weapons and vehicles. Hell, Caboose's brute strength(enough to flip a Warthog and handle a huge increase in gravity) could make them pale in comparison. Same goes for Agent Texas, who may be stronger than Caboose, but she is much more skilled in combat than the others, can tank almost, if not all of Reds weapons. I might believe that Blue takes the combat advantage.

For durability's sake, let's look at the Red Team first. Grif has survived a lot of things, including getting run over by Sheila(getting surgery to even recover), blown up by his own grenade and taking several hits to his groin! Balls of steel indeed! Then we have Lopez, who also survived an explosion and can still function even when he's just a head. As for the Blues, Tex can take damage from even vehicle fire and keep on fighting like it was nothing! Then there's Caboose, whose survived a huge increase in gravity which would destroy all life on Earth if applied to reality. Even Sheila can survive massive amounts of abuse, as it only takes an air strike and a plasma grenade to destroy her. Guess Donut could be a threat to the tank. For now, Blue may have more impressive durability feats, but could there be chances for the Reds to keep up in this category? Maybe.

At the very least, the Red Team has the weapons advantage. The Blue Team mostly has guns, SMGs and rifles while the Reds here have more than just guns. They also possess heavy machine gun turrets, missile launchers and alien weapons like the Brute Shot.

Overall, it appears that the Blue team might take this one. For all of the Red Team's weapons and strength, their own incompetence would prove to be their own downfall. Assuming that the Blue Team's combat skills, brains and durability doesn't get to them first. I also forgot to mention that both Church and Tex can always take control of the Red retards and even Lopez, despite his increased resistance.
