OMG, SHE LOOKS SO CUTE WHEN YOU DRAW HER!! Kinda makes me wanna start working on this oneshot, even though I have so many other projects I'm in the middle of.
Looks like you're doing pretty well! The only place of critique is the hands. (ugh, handswhyyousohard ) I hate drawing hands myself; they're a royal pain in the ass. The other little things here and there are perspective issues, like the balance of the eyes, the depth shown by the kanzashi that would point behind her, and things like that. Your body has excellent weight and balance though, which is another one of those things I struggle with. And I envy your gorgeous wrinkles and lineweights. Cannot even.
And it's okay if she looks old, hon. She is old, she just decided to masquerade as a high school student.
