Rare are the glimpses one will catch of Ansare "Snare" Sanguine, but the whispers through the web talk of her proficiency with hunting and traps. Entirely self-taught, Snare prides herself on her ability to wrangle...basically anything, nowadays. Her webs are cleverly woven and tailored, struck through with a specific brand of ruthlessness which has earned her a slight notoriety among the more faint-hearted.

Snare herself isn't particularly social. She spends her time out in the woods, lurking among the undergrowth. Partly, it's because she has a job to do, but also because other spinners can be, so, well...sensitive. It's just a little blood! It's not going to kill them, and they'll happily accept it anyway once it's been cooked and spruced up to their shallow tastes. Hypocrites.

She's not generally very well-liked, as she tends to be quite straightforward and arrogant, but she does have a friend or two. They don't talk much, but that's okay. Spiders aren't known for their chatter.

- She doesn't really talk to herself, but she's been known to quietly hum as she works.
- She's reluctant to engage with the wider Grove, and tends to keep to the spinner sector. She'll happily creep around at night to exame new traps and knots, though.
- Rumour has it she's killed a man. No one is really sure if that's a joke or not.
- Ansare is, indeed, a widow. Don't ask how it happened.
- She's done work disabling some old traps in the terran tunnels. She's still not a huge fan of them, but it's impractical to leave tra[s up in tunnels where they could take innocent lives.

For Colbyr 's DTA! I wanted to mess around with some stuff, and hey, it's been ages since I entered any kind of competition. I think it looks a little busy, but I like it all the same!
