I wanted to draw cricket with wings so I did ^^ but the canvas seemed empty so I added in syrne :3Cricket normally doesn't have wings but if you randomly feel like drawing her with them use this for ref ^^
cricket has Northern Saw-whet Owl wings ^^
if you crit don't mention the bg or shading they are super lazy XDD

Pros:
The wings on Cricket are very well done(same as Syrne)! I love how you actualy used anatomy/ref of the animal you were drawing. i see to many pics of people drawing wings with huge slots when the animal doesn't actually have them. Anatomy if very well done.
Cons:
not alot and not tecnicly cons but help ^^
Syrne's wings look sorta....weird. Because you made it look like the air was pushing up on one but not the other. giving them a weird anatomical position.
And i think you have the # of rows of feathers mixed up(most likely i do lol) i learned that there was three rows on the inside of the wing and two on the outside.
but other than that a very beautiful peice to your gallery my friend ^^

I agree about syrne's wing, I was trying to make it look like she was about to turn away from cricket but I didn't really accomplish that XDD
You're right about their being 3 layers of feathers on the inner wing, but their are actually 4 on the outside. The top 3 generally blend together a bit [link] has a good veiw of the different layers. I referenced off this for the owl wings [link] you can clearly see 2 layers but you can also see a third in their if you look :3 I did quite a bit of resurch regarding feathers before I drew this ^^
