His spider-mode was actually a lot more "cute" looking when I started, I tried to make it a lot more creepy looking to better fit the character.

Funny enough looking at a macro pic of a jumping spider was exactly what inspired me in the first place. But yeah, I change my mind one I started drawing the design.
