I haven't read Spider-verse yet, but I've been wanting to draw this idea of a Symbiote Spider-Gwen ever since I saw people drawing all the fan art. Mainly because the concept of turning her hood into a cobraΒ esque hood. Even though that has nothing to do with spiders...But cobras are venomous...Soooo...It still works?I donno, I just hope people get a kick out of it.
[EDIT] Made some slight fixes, primarily the fact I realized she was missing a toe.

I would have considered her colors reversed and maybe no mouth cuz you know Peter had the symbiote to and then have mouth nails and monstrous look with Venom symbiote

Color reverse would have been interesting. The mouth is important for what I was going for with the whole cobra hood thing. Also, I wanted it to have the monster venom type of look.

I love it. Its awesome in the same way spider-gwen's costume is. Spider-gwen's costume was a hit because it was classic spidey and yet had a cool original design unlike any spider-costume we seen before. You just did that with a venom symbiote.

Awesome and original idea (especially compared to the uninspired 'Gwenom' Variant-artwork)? Check. Very well drawn? Check. Now we are only missing a transformation sequenceΒ Β . Some people are just never satisfied Β .

There are a cool ones out there, but I was really disappointed by the official Gwenom Variantcover. Ye, the hood had teeth, but I've seen that one on fanworks before and done better.

this is kind of horrifying, and awesome! it won't surprise me if/when Marvel decides to do something like this in the comics. and i just read Spider-Verse, it is wicked awesome!
