Background:
Record Riff was the first baby of the family generationally (meaning the first grandchild to both of his parent’s parents) and from a young age he was doted on constantly by both Vinyl’s small extended family and Octavia’s massive, massive extended family.
    Everyone could tell he took after Vinyl in terms of how he expressed his musical ability, but he also took after Octavia in terms of his longing for the spotlight. His ambition towards DJing took a different form compared to Vinyl’s career, which at times put him at odds with his mother. Vinyl’s philosophy of DJing was that the DJ should blend in seamlessly with the event they’re hosting and the focus of their performance should be their music over everything else. Although Riff definitely wasn’t lacking in musical ability and had nothing to compensate for in that area, his mindset was always that he himself was the experience, and though his music was definitely a major part of that it didn’t have to be the only part. This shows in his performances, which are always wild flashy affairs that never let you forget who’s responsible for them.
Personality:
    Record Riff definitely has a big personality and he never tries to hide that. He’s boisterous, loud, and very in your face. He has a bit of an ego and tends to act impulsively. Riff has a tendency to push the limits with everything he does which does get him in trouble. However, he does have a good heart and he is ultimately very kind, which means that although he does make mistakes pretty often, others are usually forgiving of him. His mistakes tend to be more to do with his interpersonal relationships than his work, he definitely gets caught up in himself pretty often which can cause him to act callously towards others.

His hair isn’t naturally...any of that. Sure it’s naturally its base color, but the neon blue streaks are dyed in (using the same hair dye Momma Scratch uses) and it doesn’t naturally stand up like that (lots of hair gel, his hair is naturally like Octavia’s)
Don’t come in his house on sunday with a big banana and expect everything to be peaches
HUGE flirt...it’s mister steal yo girl, boy, whatever
Also a bit of a prankster..him and [REDACTED] get up to all sorts of trouble, constantly, to the point where it gets annoying
