I know I haven't posted Jin Hao in a couple weeks....and this is why. Was working on portfolio art and catching up on other projects.Please note that to make this I first traced official refs/screenshots to make a sketch, then tried to replicate and redraw lines by memory (went stroke by stroke), as I am trying to learn how to draw the ATLA/LoK Style.
This is what I imagine Alejandro and the Lianhua uniform would look like in the Avatar Universe. The uniform is slightly tweaked:
-the wraps and what not are larger and I may keep them this way
-added a gold rim around the collar
-added a little squareish/earth motif to the corner flap of the shirt since in avatar, the earth kingdom has a lot of geometric patterns.
Alejandro's hair was also simplified for "animation" since this is supposed to be a turnaround.
I do like how Alejandro looks in this style so I may try to incorporate aspects of this into my own
