I found Grima to be an incredibly complex villainous. "I want to destroy the world because the horrifying guilt, pain, and confusion I feel in murdering my perfect soulmate of a husband."
The trauma of bereavement - of a death in the family - is what's drives her to do what she does: raze the world to the ground and restore everyone as immortal risen; misguided and confused that is. It is for these reasons and more that she fails to stop Lucina from traveling back in time (as it should've been easy to do so with earnest effort), as she's secretly praying for Lucina's success. To learn that she can instead time-travel, she WANTS to follow Lucina into that portal and thinking the chance of return to the day she first met her husband, fuse with her past-self, and relive being with him all over again. Since the attempted fuse failed, she deliberately left you with the premonition that'd later save his life instead, and now all she really wants to do is die (hence why she doesn't just simply barrel roll you off her back).
Later exposed to the opinions of others however, the immense "feels" I got from this villainous I suppose is only true of a FeMUxChrom Grima.Β
If one didn't play FeMUxChrom, then yeah, I can see how Grima is simply a generic "I want to destroy the world because I can" villain.
A shame.
Chrobin upgrades Grima from the two-dimensional to three-dimensional in terms of character, and that's the main reason why Chrobin will always be the One True Pairing to me.

wow, that was deep. I agree whole heartedly with this. I feel that they could have made Grima and the Plegians more defined with more depth. I'm sure not all Plegians are crazy Grimleal or power hungry, and I'm sure Grima had reasons for doing what he did. I just wish that had been explored more in the game instead of just saying that they're generic bad guys.

Grima always struck me as a whole "I wanna destroy the world because I can" type of villan, but I think the inner Avatar, in this case, Lisa, is still clawing at the shadows that are trapping her in. So no matter how you intended this to be drawn(beautiful, by the way), I think that, in "Grima's" final moments of life, the true owner of that body, the true Lisa, came forward and apologized for her actions before finally passing away.

It seems to me that Grima was just your typical 'I wanna destroy the world' kind of doomsday villain, though I found it interesting to see your spin on him, even if he's acting out of character (though maybe it's just me...).

That's what I would feel life in the game since grima was lonely in the future and that the avatar tells them that he is not going to be lonely anymore when they sacrifice themselves.
