I definitely see improvement!
One thing I love but this one is the solid and shaded look, but for facial expression-wise, the old one is better. Maple looks more insane and crazy, like she's plotting a revenge with those sharp claws of hers and the tilted head shape makes her look way more of personality. This one, Maple looks tamed as her pose is subtle, like theres no movement.
But I can see you definitely improved ALOT!

This one is certainly more "solid" in terms of style and colouring, but I feel that its overall tone/feeling falls just a bit short of its predecessor's raw epicness. Β Both are magnificent, however!
