There is ANOTHER Sunfish.Β Ones that are quite beautiful in fact.Β They are in the same family as Blue Gills.
Actually there are quite a few sunfish in the Genus Lepomis family of fish.
Sorry I know this is random, but being related to a fisherman ... I couldn't help myself.Β The most beautiful of this Genus has to be the Dollar Sunfish and Longear Sunfish(which actually look close to Sun in color btw).
