I struggled with SI for many years; I'm proud to say I've been clean for 2+years.I quit because I got pregnant, and my daughter is more than enough motivation to keep me clean.
I do still have scars, and these are all real, and all mine. They are my biggest insecurity, but I'm no longer ashamed of them.
If you are struggling with SI, I urge you to get help! You ARE NOT ALONE! It is a horrible and difficult battle, but it is possible, always BELIEVE you can do it, and you can!

I wish you strength and self-belief. The craving to cut never goes away, but I hope one day you will find a reason that gives you the ability to quit. Keep your head high, and just keep fighting, it's quite the battle, but you can make through this.

I want to quit, but the urge to cut is always there. I think you are very brave and I wish you all the best even though I don't know you.
