Thank you for commission me! I took some time to think about what kind of situation fits butternut better, then I just started thinking about the squirrels in the garden I saw everyday! This is absolutely gorgeous, Oxy! I love the sense of scale that you decided to go with for Butternut -- seeing her framed by that tall grass is just too pretty. ;v; She looks just so dang small peering up from all the vegetation, which adds both a nice touch of personality and character to the piece, and also acts as just being too darn cute. Paired with the nostalgic, golden colors, it really makes for one beautiful piece to look at. Lovely job on this one!
