Constantly having an influx of information has caused him to develop somewhat of a “mad scientist” persona; to him, inventing is at its best when it’s full of lights, sounds, and action, which is reflected in his eye-catching designs.
Due to his quirk, Kono can be somewhat lazy when it comes to studying, preferring to download and delete academic-related information as needed. However, he understands that not everyone can memorize things as well as he can, and is more than willing to download files to help other people study.

- Kono’s name comes from the phrase “Konde ita” (“It’s crowded”), alluding to his limited memory storage. It also pays homage to the young inventor Richard “Data” Wong, a character in the 1985 movie “The Goonies”.
- Kono’s gear appears to be heavily inspired by various robots from franchises such as Code Geass, Transformers, and Godzilla.
- Kono’s preferred downloadable file formats are .pdf and .txt. He dislikes downloading videos.
