Description
this is the first image of my entry for iconic movie toy line crossover contest its a zoid (hammer rock) made in to a flying monkey from the wizard of oz.my inspiration for the coloration came from this image fav.me/d2veoba .
this was made by swapping out the hammer rocks legs with that of a Brachios and gutting the body and using a nail to hold the harms and legs in a upright position then large caps to cover the nail ends, the wing mounts are a command wolf paw with 2 blox caps glued to to it to hold the flyscissor wings. the neck was beefed up with a piece of a transformer. a custom zoids core was added using a clear glass fuse pained candy green and glued in to the chest cavity
the blues were spray painted on then the red and white details were hand painted on.

An interesting creature here! You did a great job. Most of all, I like its wings, they have a great shape that fits the monkey. The colour palette is good, too. Since I mostly agree with the previous commenter, I’d like to focus my comment on the page design (because presentation matters, too ).
The photos are good. They have balanced lightning, and you got rid of the shadows. However, the side view photo is a bit overexposed. The first small photo duplicates the front view. I suggest changing it on another, probably the one showing the details (the head maybe, I find it rather interesting). I like that you showed wicked Zoids core.
The whole design looks stylish with its steel surface. I like how it shines. The small details fit perfectly. There are some things that I hope will help you to improve it even more.
In the front view photo, try to leave some space under his feet. It’s not centered and I wonder if you chose such composition for the purpose. Cropping the space on the main photo will let you to move the small photos to the right, so you will get rid of the empty space between the second and third photos.
The strongest point of your design is that it doesn’t distract the viewer from the creature.
Hope it will be useful, good luck with your further works

i try to keep the main center photo the same size will all my sheets i could resize it but i think due to complacency in the design and wanting to keep all the sheets simular that i never tried changing the main image size

This is really cool, considering the fact that you custom made it yourself

All the times I broke my toys it never once occurred to me to put the pieces together into something new to play with.
You did a great job putting this together. Even without reading your description I recognized it as a flying monkey from Oz. Well, mechanical flying monkeys, but that's probably in line with what you were trying to create.
The head body and arms definitely have a monkey look to them. The legs and feet aren't bad, but for some reason I keep thinking of hooves when I look at the feet. They aren't bad though, the little grooves and shapes give the impression of monkey toes. Just the way they are connected makes them seem fused, which might be where I'm getting hooves from. I suppose you were stuck with a compromise there; you needed something it could actually balance on without breaking the theme of the piece.
The wings I think fit perfectly. They have a bat's wing outline combined with the jagged outline gives them a sinister appearance which really suits the monkeys from Oz.
The painting you did on this is spot on from your source image, as well as from the movie. The only departure is the blue in the wings. I think the blue works though, it's a nice contrast from the red trim as well as standing out in a way that the feathers on the original monkey's wings did.

thank you very much the legs were difficult to do as no zoid really have a upright stance in a ape base debated on gundam legs at one point but stuck with the legs you see and hoestly i like them i just wish i could mold clear plastic as the legs normally have red clrae domes over the hip area that would haev looked great in green i think

It looks great as it is, you captured the idea really well. I can't really visualize it with the green domes you're describing, so I'll have to take your word it would have looked even better
